Business Development Representative
Overall Purpose: To generate and qualify sales leads for Amplfy Sales Network clients.
Specific Activities:
- Find prospective companies to generate sales leads. use known tools and techniques to develop lists of possible prospects. Some clients may provide lists.
- Cold call (telephone) prospects to get likely person(s) to discuss how our client can help them. Typically, this will be someone in Purchasing, Procurement, Sales Operations, or Human Resources.
- Email prospective companies to generate warm leads, then follow up with phone calls.
- Qualify leads through discussions, identify clients' needs through open-ended questions, and share how our clients can help each business.
- Generate a specific, agreed-upon number of highly qualified leads for our clients.
- Establish meetings with all prospects for the agreed-upon number of qualified leads.
- Turn leads and schedule meetings over leadership or the client, as determined in advance by Amplify Sales Network leadership.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Two years of experience in a sales role. Preferably one year is required in lead generation and qualification.
